Is a permanent internet connection required?
No. The system operates locally. Internet is only used for remote smartphone control and updates.
What budget should I plan for?
Le budget dépend fortement de la technologie choisie :
Solution sans fil (Zigbee — ex. Niko Home Control) : idéale pour rénovation sans travaux, on remplace les interrupteurs/prises existants. À partir de ~250 € pour quelques prises connectées. Comptez environ 1 500 - 2 500 € pour un appartement 2 chambres complet (hub + 8 interrupteurs + 6-8 prises) ou 3 000 - 5 000 € pour une maison standard.
Solution filaire bus (KNX, Loxone) : c'est un supplément à l'installation électrique classique, pour ajouter le câblage bus et les modules. À partir de ~5 000 € de surcoût pour une domotique de base (éclairage + volets centralisés). Sur une maison neuve entièrement scénarisée (HVAC, sécurité, audio, accès) le supplément se situe plutôt entre 15 000 et 30 000 €, et peut dépasser 50 000 € pour les villas avec scénarios avancés.
Chaque devis est chiffré sur mesure après étude d'usage. On commence souvent petit pour étendre ensuite.
