Before sale
The compliance certificate is mandatory at the notary. Current timeframe: 3-6 weeks before signing.
Rental preparation

How long is my PV valid for?
The compliance certificate is valid for 25 years (unless the installation is modified). For a rental, a certificate less than 25 years old is required.
